Our Nutrition Services

  1. 1:1 Nutrition Counseling
    Set up an appointment to meet one of our fabulous RDs in person! Initial sessions are 1 hour. Follow-up appointments can be in increments of 30 minutes.
  2. Diabetes Education
    Work with our Certified Diabetes Educators (CDE) to tackle managing diabetes. This is private, one-on-one time with the RD, CDE. This service is often covered by insurance.
  3. Weight Management Courses
    These interactive group sessions will provide you with the tools & support you need to make healthy lifestyle changes. This 10-week course runs once a year (for now) at different times during the day to fit in with your busy lifestyle. Daytime: 1-2pm Evening: 6-7pm Questions or requests? Call: 310-829-8889

Our certified diabetes educators (CDE's) will assist you in developing strategies to help prevent complications and improve overall health and well-being!

    Cancer sucks, but through nutrition interventions, we can help you manage many of the side effects that come with it including weight loss, changes in appetite, fatigue, and changes in taste. Our cancer nutrition specialists do their best everyday to develop evidence-based, customized strategies to optimize nutrition before, during, and after cancer.
  3. Weight Management
    Yes, we know this is a popular one. If you are looking for a quick fix, there is an abundance everywhere these days, but if you want to learn realistic, safe, and sustainable ways to lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle, we've got your back. Our team will help provide accountability, recipes, meal plans, & real life strategies to get you on track and keep you there!
  4. GI Disorders
    Our GI tracts are complicated, and there are a number of things that can make them unhappy. While it can be quite uncomfortable, the good news is that many GI disorders can be prevented or minimized by lifestyle changes! Our specialists can help you develop eating habits, provide supplement recommendations and other tools to help you manage!

    Though we cater to the needs of the individual, you can expect a typical session to include: Height, weight, body composition Diet History & Eating Patterns Personalized Goal Setting Discussion of Motivation and Barriers Meal Plans, Recipes, Supplement Recommendations Follow-up Goals, Handouts, other Helpful Resources So who is this best for? Everyone!
  2. Cost
    Some Nutrition counseling is covered by insurance! Lucky for you....all of our billing is done through a hospital. We will do the nitty gritty with your insurance provider (Medicare or commercial). We do offer a discount of 40% of our non-covered services.
